Intellectual Property Primer

The first 7 pages focus on copyright. (The rest of the primer focuses on patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. ) The author does a good job explaining the originality requirement and the fact that EXPRESSIONS (vs. ideas, facts, processes, and discoveries) are protected. Also briefly discusses the debate regarding copyrighting compilations of facts -- i.e. databases. Click on link below.
